Life In The Slow Lane

It is so hard to get anywhere around this town during the Winter. It just took me 45 minutes to make a 20 minute drive because the snowbirds apparently have never driven in rain. Rain must be a totally new concept. Perhaps it never rains in Ohio. My top speed was 25mph all the way along US41. The speed limit is 45, but 25 was as fast as any car with an out-of-state tag would drive. Unfortunately, there was a car with an out-of-state tag in all 3 lanes on US41.

Tomorrow I may have to leave the house at 7:30 to get to work by 8:30 and the office is only 3.5 miles away!

  1. I know, right?! The worst is that some genius decided that early bird specials should coincide with 5pm rush hour. You want to get home at the end of a long day; they want a seafood platter for $4.99.

  2. I HATE THE TOURONS (part tourist; part moron). CAN’T STAND ‘EM. GO HOME ALREADY!!!

Brought to you by Americans against tourons.
