New Beginnings with Naples Errand Runners

My husband started his Naples Errand Running business 18 months ago.  It seems like just yesterday.  We worried if people would use a service to shop for them, deliver groceries and prescriptions.  The business is getting rave reviews and it appears we are a hit!  We recently added airport transportation in Southwest Florida area to Ft. Lauderdale airport, Miami airport, Punta Gorda Airport and of course Ft. Myers airport.

At our concierge delivery and airport transportation service company, customer service is our highest priority.  If you need transportation in Naples or the surrounding areas, please give us a call and find out for yourself why everyone is excited about this new service in Naples, FL.

Thank you to everyone for helping make our business grow.

Magical Memories

I recently traveled to Universal Studios in Orlando to visit “The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.” As I was browsing one of the shops I spotted a Rememberall. For those of you not familiar with Harry, a Rememberall is a small glass ball that will help you remember things. I knew immediately I needed a Rememberall. I have my Rememberall sitting on the kitchen counter at home. I was looking at it this morning and I thought to myself “why is it I can remember things for other people so well, but can’t remember my own life at all?” The Rememberall didn’t answer. Case in point: Yesterday my husband had a need to know some of his medical history. He couldn’t remember certain things that had happened in his past, so I jumped in to help. Below is a shortened version of the conversation. Me: Well, you had kidney stones before. Him: I did? No I didn’t. Me: Yes, you did in October 2009. Him: No I didn’t. Me: Yes, my friend was visiting and you were home very sick, you went to the doctor, they immediately sent you for all kinds of tests. The results were back quickly that you had three kidney stones. Him: You even remember how many I had? Me: Yes. You were very sick. My friend and I were at a jewelry party that weekend and you called to tell me the details of your kidney stones. Him: How do you remember that? Me: Same way I remember when you had your last tetanus shot, your flu shot, the medications you are on, when you have had surgeries, when my mother has had surgeries, when my mother had her pneumonia shot, and all other misc. stuff from your lives. (It was about this time is when I said to myself “But I can’t remember where I put my keys.”) I kept staring at the rememberall this morning hoping it would tell me what I had just gone into the kitchen to get, but it didn’t say a thing. I decided to keep getting ready for work and just use my husband’s keys instead. I knew where they were.

Where did the year go?

Holy Fall Batman it’s October!  Halloween!  Thanksgiving! Christmas will be here before you know it!  I can’t believe this year is going by so quickly. It feels like it was just January and we were taking down the train display.  Now it is time to start putting up the train display!

There are days where time seems to go so slowly you would think a week past in 24 hours.  However, there are those days where you realize an entire nine months have passed and it feels like only a week has past.

I know we still have three more months to go and the year isn’t over yet, but it sure seems like the last three months of the year really fly.  We have so many great events that come at the end of each year.  I love Fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years Eve.

I am going to work on making every day during the last three months count.  Lets make them last.  Savor every moment.  Stop and look at changing leaves, pumpkin patches, and spend time enjoying life.  It really goes much too fast already, lets try to slow down for the rest of the year.

Let me know what you love about Fall…..

I Married Rainman

Recently, my husband attended a training conference which also included an awards banquet.  I was able to attend the banquet with him and we were joined by 8 other people most of whom we had never met before.   One of the speakers during the awards portion of the banquet, began his speech by rhythmically snapping his fingers. He kept snapping his fingers as he talked about how everyone’s life can change in the snap of a finger.  He kept snapping and talking  or a few minutes.  At the end of his speech and finger snap episode, my husband  said aloud “52.”  That was all he said. Just the number…52.

I knew immediately what he meant.  However, the young lady next to him didn’t understand why he would just blurt out 52.  So she asked my husband “what is  52?” He replied “the number of times he snapped his fingers.”  The woman looked amazed and confused all at the same time.  She asked “You counted?”  As though that was out of the ordinary.  He answered “of course!”  She began to text  someone on her phone.  She told my husband she was texting her boyfriend.  My husband asked if she was telling him she was sitting next to a strange man.

Her reply was the best comment of the entire conference “No, I told him I am sitting next to Rainman!”

I didn’t stop laughing until we got home.

Cooking Up Memories

Tomorrow I am taking a French Cooking class at a local kitchen store.  I’m very excited! The class description says “South of France Summer menu.”  I know that our exchange students came from the South of France so I am thrilled to learn how to cook something that is from their local cuisine.   The menu states we will learn how to make a “Tuna Nicoise Salad”  and Nicoise is derived from the French town of Nice where our 2 lovely exchange students live.

We still talk to the girls about once a week via Facebook and one of them may be returning to Naples next Summer for a visit.  I can’t wait!  Perhaps I can make the salad for her!   I’ll let you  know how I do after class tomorrow night.
